Sasha Gunpat

PhD candidate

Sasha is a doctoral student registered with the Ordre des psychologues du Québec and supervised by Rhea Marshall-Denton, psychologist. She offers individual therapy to adults experiencing depression, generalized anxiety, social anxiety, panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), ADHD, procrastination, self-esteem and relational difficulties.

Her work is grounded in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), drawing from approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based strategies, and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) when appropriate. She believes therapy is a collaborative process and works alongside clients to understand patterns that may be maintaining distress, while building practical skills that support meaningful and lasting change.

Sasha strives to create a space that is warm, respectful, and non-judgmental, while also structured and goal-oriented. Her approach balances compassion with clarity, offering both emotional validation and practical direction.

She values culturally sensitive and inclusive care and seeks to understand each client’s unique background, identity, and lived experience as part of the therapeutic process.

Sasha provides services in English and offers both in-person and virtual sessions.
