Marie is a doctoral student registered with the Ordre des psychologues du Québec and supervised by Alexandra Oliveira Paiva, psychologist. She is currently completing her doctorate in psychology at UQAM.
Her clinical training includes an internship at the UQAM Psychological Services Center as well as two internships, one within a family medicine group (GMF-U) and the other in private practice. In addition, her research activities have focused for several years on the lived experiences of older adults, particularly those who are caregivers. Trained primarily in cognitive-behavioral therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy, Marie adapts her approach to the unique needs of each client. Through her caring approach, she fosters the establishment of a therapeutic space imbued with empathy, authenticity, and respect. She offers individual psychotherapy services to adults of all ages experiencing difficulties related to various issues, such as depression, anxiety, stress and emotion regulation, self-esteem, relationship issues, and life transitions. She offers these services in person, in English or French.
