Andréanne Boulanger
Andréanne Boulanger
PhD candidate
Andréanne is a doctoral student in clinical psychology at the Université de Montréal, under the supervision of Dr. Alexandra Oliveira Paiva, psychologist.
Her approach integrates psychodynamic and humanistic perspectives. She places particular importance on the experiences that have shaped how we understand situations, react to events, and relate to others. She believes that gaining a better understanding of our personal history and its connection to our current experiences can help us make sense of our reactions and envision new ways of coping with challenges.
Therapy is viewed as a collaborative process in which the therapeutic relationship provides a safe space to experience and explore emotions. It also offers a unique setting for better understanding one’s patterns of relating to others and, gradually, experimenting with new ways of connecting.
Andréanne provides psychological assessment and psychotherapy services to adults dealing with a variety of issues. She practices in French and offers in-person sessions.
