Isabelle Leduc-Cummings (elle/she/her)

Psychologist

Dr. Isabelle Leduc-Cummings is a psychologist and member of the Ordre des psychologues du Québec. She earned her doctoral degree in psychology from McGill University and completed her clinical training at the Emotional Health Clinic, the Allan Memorial Institute, and the Douglas Mental Health University Institute.

Her therapeutic approach is integrative and tailored to each client’s unique needs, personality, challenges, and strengths. Her priority is to create a safe and trusting environment and to build a therapeutic relationship grounded in openness and compassion. Through this collaborative process, she helps clients work toward their goals and enhance their overall well-being. Isabelle encourages the exploration of present and past factors contributing to difficulties with curiosity and empathy, while supporting clients in developing greater self-understanding and offering practical tools to improve their functioning.

Her approach is primarily humanistic, while integrating elements of psychodynamic therapy and cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), as well as selected third-wave approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness-based interventions.

Isabelle provides individual psychotherapy in both French and English to adults experiencing a wide range of concerns, including depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, relational and emotional difficulties, trauma, grief, life transitions, and personal growth. She prefers to work with clients in person whenever possible.
