Arnaud Allary
Psychologist
Arnaud Allary is a psychologist and member of the Ordre des psychologues du Québec. His practice is characterized by a warm, empathic, and validating approach, with a focus on relational issues and making sense of difficult experiences.
Arnaud places great importance on building a sense of safety and a strong therapeutic relationship in order to create a space for exploration and collaboration. He seeks to shed light on present-day difficulties through a deep curiosity about the here and now, while also exploring a person’s life history to better understand recurring relational patterns. His work also aims to support individuals in developing a greater capacity to face their inner world and to foster new ways of relating to others.
In addition to his practice at L’Espace, Arnaud has been working for nearly six years within the public healthcare system at the relational and personality disorders clinic of the Institut universitaire en santé mentale de Montréal, where he received extensive training in the humanistic approach and mentalization-based therapy. He also integrates elements of psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioural therapies, depending on the individual’s needs and profile.
He has a particular interest in relational difficulties, personality-related issues, anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, attachment, self-esteem, and emotion regulation.
