Psychologist
Mélina is a psychologist (Ph.D./Psy.D.) and a licensed member of the Ordre des psychologues du Québec. She completed her doctoral studies at the Université du Québec à Montréal.
She offers virtual psychotherapy services in French for adolescents aged 14 and older, as well as adults. She works with a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, burnout, difficulties with assertiveness and self-esteem, mood disorders, relational or family difficulties, identity-related questions, as well as emotional regulation and adaptation or transition challenges.
Mélina’s clinical training is highly diverse. She completed three internships with varied client populations (children, adolescents, and adults) and in three different settings (a university clinic, a family medicine group, and a school environment). Primarily trained in cognitive-behavioral therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy, she offers an integrative, flexible approach tailored to each individual’s needs, fostering a therapeutic climate grounded in acceptance, authenticity, and trust. She provides active, collaborative support while respecting each person’s unique pace.
In addition to her private practice, Mélina works in research and is interested in the psychological health and well-being of parents raising a child with developmental differences. At L’espace, Mélina offers weekly or biweekly sessions, depending on individual needs and goals.
