Carolanne is a psychologist and a registered member of the Order of Psychologists of Québec.
Carolanne works in a psychodynamic approach. She guides clients in a process of self-exploration and increased emotional awareness. She views psychotherapy as a safe space in which one can access their inner world to make better sense of their experiences. Her approach prioritizes the therapist-client relationship, exploration of the problem at hand and support towards an optimal emotional and functional balance. Through a gentle and caring relationship, Carolanne guides her clients towards understanding their emotions, needs, thoughts and behaviors, in order to regain control over their lives.
Carolanne is currently completing her doctoral studies at the University of Quebec at Trois-Rivières, where she has also completed a specialization in forensic psychology. During her clinical training, she practiced psychotherapy and psychodiagnostic assessment with adult clienteles presenting various difficulties, including mental health disorders, emotional regulation, relationship and marital difficulties, experience of violence (victim or aggressor) and stress.
Carolanne favors an in-person practice.
