Rhea Marshall-Denton

Co-founder, Psychologist, PhD/PsyD

Dr. Rhea Marshall-Denton, clinical psychologist, is the co-founder of L’espace Clinique de psychology. She obtained her doctorate in psychology from the University of Québec in Montréal.

Her approach to therapy is integrative and grounded in the belief that meaningful work happens through balance—between the pursuit of change and the search for meaning, between present-moment experience and the influence of past patterns, and between practical strategies and emotional depth. She works collaboratively with clients to create space for insight and action, allowing therapy to be a place of movement and reflection. This balance allows her to meet clients where they are—with both curiosity and direction, presence and progress.

Rhea believes the therapeutic relationship itself is a powerful vehicle for healing. She brings warmth, honesty, and a direct style that fosters trust and connection, creating space for clients to explore difficult emotions safely and feel deeply understood. Her work is collaborative and responsive to both immediate goals and deeper self-discovery.

Rhea draws on relational frameworks, including attachment theory, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and emotion-focused therapy, to help clients connect with their inner experiences. At the same time, her training in cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), equips her to support clients in making practical changes that reduce distress and improve daily functioning.

She works with clients navigating a wide range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, burnout, relationships and family issues (romantic relationships, perinatal mental health, parenthood), life transitions, grief, and questions of identity and purpose.

Rhea sees clients in English and French.
