Gabrielle Boudreau

Psychologist

Gabrielle is a psychologist and a registered member of the Order of Psychologists of Québec.

She completed her doctoral studies at the University of Sherbrooke and completed her clinical training at the Health and Psychological Consultation Center of the University of Montreal, with an adult clientele presenting a variety of difficulties such as interpersonal difficulties, anxiety, depression, grief, emotional regulation and trauma.

She sees psychotherapy as a safe space that allows us to better understand ourselves and to make sense of current and past difficulties and experiences. Her main approach is humanistic, although she also incorporates elements from other theoretical orientations (psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioural). It is with sensitivity and openness that she accompanies her clients in the exploration of their internal world. In this process, she pays special attention to emotions, perceptions, beliefs, personal strengths and relationship and family history. According to Gabrielle, a better self-awareness and understanding allows the person to act more satisfyingly and coherently with who they are and how they feel.

Gabrielle favors in-person sessions.
